Sea-s-ta is a short drive from the quaint village of Mission Beach which like all your beach towns is full of interesting boutiques, bars, dive n tackle, galleries, surf shops, internet, restaurants & cafes plus all your necessary stores but you can find all about them in our compendium or just discover them for yourself.

If it's extreme you’re after, we can organize to throw you out of a plane, ride down rapids on the famous Tully River or take an action packed Jet Ski tour around our beautiful Dunk Island – let’s also not forget those crazy blo-carts at the Kiosk!

For those of you who would like pampering over the extreme sports let us organize our in house masseur for you to really get you into the holiday mood.

Don’t forget Mission Beach has one of the closest access points to the stunning and magical Great Barrier Reef where you can snorkel to your heart’s content or for the more adventurous try out Scuba Diving for beginners to experts. For those who enjoy catching the fish instead we have fishing guides here in Mission Beach who guarantee a great day out, perhaps bring something home for the BBQ!

Some of the activities you could try

• Bring your own boat and launch it at either one of the two nearby boatramps and have a fun day out on the water fishing, skiing, or find a deserted island for a secluded picnic lunch.
• Spot the endangered Cassowary on one of our many walking tracks
• Get wet & raft the famous Tully River
• Skydive from the heavens onto the beach (pending weather Paul's parachuting can land you just infront of Sea-s-ta)
• Visit our local wineries, Murdering Point Winery. Sample local wine made from tropical fruits of North Queensland.
• Take a day trip to Dunk Island, have lunch jet ski around the island, spot an ulysses butterfly or do a bit of beachcombing
• Dive or snorkel the breathtaking Great Barrier Reef
• Fancy a drive of 45-60 mins, then you can visit the historic Paronella Park where you'll feel like you've stepped back in time & if you want to meet some of our "locals" then the crocodile farm at South Johnstone (near Innisfail) is a must
• Be your own Captain Cook & hire a motor boat & discover paradise
• Get fit & have fun on a sea kayak half or fullday trip across to Dunk Island
• Feel like some inhouse relaxation and pampering whilst enjoying the beautiful views from Sea-s-ta?
